It was great to share a platform with Neisha, one of the members of @PlanUK’s Youth Advisory Panel. She did an excellent job sharing her perspective on the importance of reproductive rights for young people, and reminded us all that we need to hear their voices at the table 2/2.
Proud of our YAP member Neisha, who is advocating for reproductive agency for young people. Young leaders aren’t just speaking up about SRHR, they are pushing for action! 💪.

Wrapping up the UK launch of @UNFPA's 2025 State of World Population report, I highlighted the importance of maintaining a clear focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights. When women have reproductive agency they help change the world for the better 1/2
As declines in fertility rates make headlines, women + young people are often blamed for demographic shifts. This week in parliament we discussed the real fertility crisis - a lack of reproductive agency. @SarahChampionMP @meralhece @LeighInghamMP @FCDOGH @APPGGlobalSRHR

Destructive bottom trawling is still permitted in 90% of UK Marine Protected Areas. In @UKHouseofLords I asked the Government when they will protect our precious seabeds 🐟. @OceanaUK @Bluemarinef.
Will the government ban destructive fishing methods and protect natural marine environments?.In this episode of #InsideLordsQuestions, we catch up with @liz_sugg who recently pressed the government on whether it plans to ban bottom trawling and dredging in marine protected areas.

This latest research from @OceanaUK shows the scale of damage happening now in our Marine Protected Areas 🌊 . A ban on bottom trawling and dredging in all our marine protected areas is essential to restore and protect the UK’s marine ecosystems and safeguard coastal communities.
🚨 BREAKING: 20,000+ HOURS of suspected bottom trawling WRECKED the UK’s offshore marine “protected” areas last year, our research shows! 🌊 That would score tracks on the seabed that would stretch EIGHT TIMES around the UK. All with the government's permission! 1/4 🔽
