23 years ago today, Raila Odinga came in style to mourn his friend Michael Wamalwa Kijana and delivered bulls to our home in Kitale. Today, i lead members of my family, my party @DAP_Kenya, and the larger luhya family to Kang'o ka Jaramogi in Bondo to honor our departed hero.

BABA's forgiving nature and working with his worst opponents who insulted and abused him should be studied. Listen to this conversation between him and Uhuru Kenyatta at Safari Park Hotel ... Priceless.

Remember when @SouthPark featured Raila Odinga as Kenya's Head of State. Trey & Matt knew that his victory was stolen, and so they portrayed him as the president .

She's been so strong for the public I presume, I thought she was a firstborn daughter kumbe she's the lastborn, I wish her well man
I cannot even begin to explain the heartache, grief and hopelessness that comes with being in this position 💔 those who have been here will tell you it's a life changing experience that you'd never wish even on your worst enemy. Nothing is ever the same again

Winnie has it… Winnie has the thing.
Winnie Odinga: He died in my arms. He died strong. With dignity and with pride. The king is dead, but long live the crown. Live blog: https://t.co/NCvLcGGSbc

Patriarchy needs to call a small meeting because the natural heir is obvious not of all of his influence but the potential is undeniable

The greatest honor to Raila’s legacy is in continuing the fight for democracy and freedom he so dearly championed while celebrating our cultural and tribal roots not as divisions, but threads that unite our nation. A man who embraced his culture and traditions so deeply yet

And finally, Baba lay in State in Parliament! A moment of profound honor, and one he truly deserved.

There is little difference between the compromises Raila made with Moi, Kibaki, Kenyatta and the one he made with Ruto. The problem is the current generation think their burden is the greatest.
I've been listening to Ngilu, Balala, Miguna and others speak to how Raila refused to take up presidency forcefully every time he was rigged out because he didn't want the country to burn . Possibly his stance over the GenZ protests

Many of you lack the capacity to comprehend nuance, and unfortunately for you this is one man that can't be defined in one compliment or critique; even less so people's feelings towards him. Kindly read some history (especially if, like me, you didn't get to live through it)

Sisemi mpende ukabila. Lakini two truths can co-exist. Ukabila ni mbaya lakini ukiangusha guard yako, wale wanakuchukia watakukanyaga (as we can see on the TL). Ningekuwa Njaruo siweziskiza story ya tribeless haha. Measured guard persists.
Tribeless ni ya midrocrass traditionally unoppressed groups. Ukiwa from a traditionally pipinywa'd group unafaa kuwa skeptical sana. Kila wakati on your guard ju wakenya ni wale wale.

I always found it odd that old people hate people my age but you guys are really insufferable & irritating. Kulikuwa na events and several major protests for similar and major issues before June last year na it is ok to acknowledge that.
Even inside the plane?? Aki I feel so much pain none of these people cared about kids being killed and not affording the cost of living. Like I said hatutoki block
