As we mark the 75th anniversary of the start of the Korean War this week, the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at HMCS Haida reaffirms our commitment to honour the many Canadians who served during this war. Thank you to our veterans for their courage and sacrifice.

My dad didn't have much longer, but he made one last trip to Ottawa in 2021 to see me sworn in. 78 years old and full of inappropriate jokes. The day will forever be most special because he was by my side. Happy Father's Day and love to those left with sweet memories today.
