I went on a tour of @WasteManagement’s materials recovery facility in NE Philly yesterday (thanks to @greenphillyblog), and my takeaway is HOLY SHIT, PEOPLE, STOP PUTTING PLASTIC BAGS IN YOUR CURBSIDE #RECYCLING BIN. Just stop. It’s not that hard.

A hospital workers' union wants to rezone the Hahnemann site so it can only be used for medical purposes — preventing it from being flipped into apartments
