hi!! these aren't all my interests but I will at the very least hit that rt button anytime I see any of these on my tl bc I'm a mess. so follow me if you're a mess too
I think the problem with the James Somerton situation is that the chuds are 100% convinced that the only wrongdoing he ever did was *just* the plagiarism
They don't know any actual details on the true extent of what he did because they just want an excuse to deplatform Hbomb
This is just the show bible. We don't know if the meme stuff was even going to be in the final version.
Yes, it's in the pilot ep - but the only two official pieces of media do not allude to this aspect whatsoever
The show doesn't even exist yet y'all keep acting like it does
now that were all turning on pibby apparently can i say how much i hate the fact that the antagonistic corrupting force is a fucking manifestation of 2017 meme culture
It literally came out in October. October 10, 2010. 10/10/10. Easy date to remember and it was the launch of The Hub, the network it was released onto. What the fuck are you on about?
hot take but I feel like people can be upset about their favorite cartoon being cut short/not getting the love it deserved *without* feeling the need to shit on a completely unrelated cartoon just because it got better treatment than the thing you liked
This post is blowing up so I want to clarify that this is just a pic for the 5-minute shorts that we're getting in April. The upcoming special and series on Netflix, titled "My Little Pony: Make Your Mark", will still look like the film!! Put down yerr pitchforks
Before 'THE OWL HOUSE' was picked up by Disney Channel, Dana Terrace pitched
#TheOwlHouse
to Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, but they were rejected by both networks.

Was just reminded of a familiar situation: In 2016 the Canadian-American TV series 'Polly and the Zhu Zhu Pets' aired. The main protag was named Polly Pamplemousse, but many thought this series was associated with Polly Pocket, when it was not. She was then renamed to Frankie.
I really do feel like I can never complain about cartoon distribution anymore after learning that one of Nickelodeon's international productions is literally only available to view in the US on an airplane
There is only one thing I have to say about that Chip Chilla cartoon
Why the hell would they make it such a blatant ripoff of Bluey while adding nothing new to the table when the concept art and videos from one year ago literally look so much better ☠️
Disney being hesitant to call the Molly McGee series finale what it is in an attempt to avoid any backlash, but then outright casually telling everyone the Alice in Wonderland preschool show is over, is just really hilarious to me
Childless Bluey superfans weird me out in a way I can't properly express
it really is a phenomenal show but if you aren't a parent or toddler, respectfully, I have no clue what you're watching it for
"its a good show" yea but we're flanked by 20 good shows going on at all times
I miss it when cartoon seasons were just the standard 26 episodes (or 52 episodes if it's an 11 minute show) instead of being that but split up among 8+ seasons each with like 6 episodes
Also by chuds I mostly mean extremely salty Internet Historian fans because it's literally so obvious that's what this is all about
What an interesting audience he's built!
