Flood control projects are never the solution. We need real integrated & comprehensive urban planning by real planners, not insertions by contractors, politicians, project "owners" & "takers" or "financiers.". In short, hindi pinagkakakitaan dapat iyan. Hindi rin iyan balato sa.

@limbertqc Isa sa simpleng banat ng mga contractors ay ang pagsemento sa mga kanal na imbis laliman at lawakan ay binababawan. Wala ring sistema ang kanalisasyon para umagos ang tubig. Siempre babaha uli at kakailanganin na namang itaas ang daan. Bagong kita sa bagong kontrata.

Those so called "flood control projects" are mere band-aid solutions to a more severe problem . unbridled urbanization sans long-term, bottom-up integrated/comprehensive planning. Kanya-kanyang "legacy" at bulsa kasi ang inaatupag. The key word is integration & cooperation.
