No one should ever face prosecution for ending their own pregnancy, but that is exactly what is happening in this country. I'm therefore pleased that an amendment to stop this has passed in Parliament. This is a vital step forward for women’s rights and reproductive justice.

Amazing panel this afternoon. Most shocking fact (both that it is true and that I only learnt this to today) is that migrant woman/people with no recourse to NHS funds have to pay for terminations. Thank you Anais Berlim for opening my eyes. Learning every day. #BASHH2024

Thanks so much to everyone who has reached out ❤️ it’s so sad that this post resonates due to shared trauma. This thread is so upsetting. I’ll be recuperating whilst thinking about how I can continue to use my position to assist in sorting this mess out. 🙏🏿
