Race Science never left us. It pervades everything, and there's loads of work (by scholars such as Angela Saini, Dr's @SoSowemimo @IshitaMarwah and Madina Wane and many more) pointing out how it trickles down and manifests in pop culture too. 'Good Jeans/Genes' isn't by mistake.

I can’t leave this app because the stupidity on here is so amazing 🤣 . Imagine discovering pidgin, a dialect spoken by over 100 million people, like its brand new.

Institutional racism within the #NHS is putting patients at risk. In an interview with Dr @SoSowemimo, Index's Mackenzie Argent considers how cultural bias is silencing staff and patients and increasing misdiagnosis in hospitals. 1/6 https://t.co/cWEPC8xm8r

🧵Zelensky being publicly berated by US president and VP (a mass media spectacle par excellence) has left western Europe stunned, shocked, and floundering. There was much ‘unprecedented’ about the spectacle but I want to talk about something that isn’t being discussed.

I had the absolute pleasure of reviewing Emergency: COVID-19 and the Uneven Valuation of Life by Claire Laurier Decoteau Univ. Chicago Press (2025) for Nature . Go have a read 👉🏿 https://t.co/xXvhV9z6f6

As a Black woman who hopes to bring new life into this world someday, I found writing this feature both challenging and insightful. Thank you @SoSowemimo, @RaneeThakar, @GillWaltonRCM, @Marianfknight, and @mamadinya for sharing your knowledge and experiences.

Been grafting raising a whole human but I’m very lucky to have a platform and I’m very excited to be @MotherhoodGroup Black Maternal health conference this year with so many other fantastic people. This conference should have to exist but it’s vital. 👉🏿

"We should not be giving Black people the same vaccine schedule that's given to Whites, because their immune system is better than ours." ---RFK Jr. So what vaccine schedule should I have received? His answer was dangerous. I will be voting no.

The number of women waiting for gynaecology care in England has more than doubled in the last 5 years. We really do need to fix this urgently. Please repost if you agree and help encourage @wesstreeting to make this a priority. https://t.co/trJaTAUPlI

Mental health illness is at an all time high in this country and people literally experience the failure of a an alternative system that centres care rather than control on a daily basis.

There are so many cases of how those with mental health problems would be better served by abolition. There’s tons of cases of those with acute psychosis dying due to police interactions. Theres nothing ‘alien’ about this position.
How did the left end up with a bunch of positions that are completely alien to the people we aspire to represent? I loved this conversation with @ayocaesar
