I will never get over being called insufficiently dialectical by gym bros for the revolution on here because I pointed out that structural factors disproportionately influence people's health behaviours

This week I wrote about an aubergine and tomato stew from Béziers that I'm going to make all summer long. In your face, ratatouille. Also, the glory that is food message board aggro. https://t.co/ERfWVzrTxz

What do you do when your heart is in the South of France but your tomatoes are from Asda? I made these tomates à / Provençale - easy and good. Recipe here (free). https://t.co/A9AAUg6C1m

Made a bottom-of-the-salad-drawer soup - cabbage and leeks, with lardons, the end of a pot of fromage blanc, some chives from the garden, very simple and surprisingly good. Free recipe in my newsletter. https://t.co/wrOxLPfKhA

When we moved to France, I had to carve a garden out of a bamboo forest - and learn a whole new way of gardening in the process. I wrote about nurturing our French garden, planting plants and putting down roots for @GHmagazine

Completely unhinged. Trump has lost his mind.
Trump loses it at Peter Alexander: "What are you talking about? You oughta get out of here ... you're a terrible reporter. You don't have what it takes to be a reporter. You're not smart enough ... Brian Roberts and the people that run that place they ought to be investigated."

I wrote this for @spectator about why Oxfam’s bookshops have driven the second-hand trade out of business. https://t.co/QTZijSm0Zo I worried I may have been too harsh, but judging by the messages from bookshop owners I’ve received, I didn’t go anywhere near far enough.

Friday night dinner... Confit de canard with little potatoes, rapini with lemon, garlic and chilli. Twenty-five minutes from walking in the door to putting it on plates.

Friends, anyone want to go to the Champions League Arsenal v Dynamo Zagreb match tonight at the Emirates? Kick off 8pm, ticket £48. Row 5 on the halfway line and you get to sit next to my husband. Wish I could go... Go in my place. Let me know...

Met Nigel Farage once - he tried to talk to me about shooting. Very obvious almost immediately that he knew almost nothing about it all. Suspect he knows just as much about hunting and probably similarly clued up on farming. The countryside doesn’t need the guy.
