It’s true.
Dayton basketball has gotten to such a bad place that they’re getting beat in the NIT at home as double digit favorites. I used to think the problem was AG’s quarter zip but starting to think even a good suit can’t fix that dumpster fire.

Until Dayton is willing to change their processes and how they do business (like this!) they will fall further and further behind and not be able to truly compete.
🚨Breaking: I have word that Will Wade should be officially announced as the new head coach of @LSUBasketball the first week of April. LSU athletics continue to whale hunt. I think we are seeing that LSU has the money to compete in all sports and is willing to spend it.

When you consider that on paper this Dayton team should have won zero games if not for the brilliance of Anthony Grant, this is the only proper take
@JBPDayton Had them until Bennett went out. AG’s scouting was on point as usual, just tough matchup when you get this far in March. Proud

Not everyone can come into the University of Dayton Arena and beat an Anthony Grant coached team. Illinois St accomplished what only historically great programs like Lowell, Lipscomb and Austin Peay could pull off.

So we sit Montgomery and Thomas and play a dude with 5 minutes. Great coaching.

So Friery plays all season maybe 5 minutes. Plays 20 tonite. Make it make some kind of sense. Our coach didn’t take this game seriously at all. Just threw up his hands and said screw it.

Yet another disappointing Dayton basketball season. It will continue until we move on from our coach. We are not a serious basketball program till then. Period. Double period. Amen.
