The kids in our second class all started leaving early. We were very confused; one of the other teachers said “Oh, yeah, they’re going to cut and fry the moose.” In other news moose is DELICIOUS

First thing I did when I landed in Yellowknife was put my bare hand in the snow because I wanted to feel it (I 1000% would be the first to die in a horror movie and yet I regret nothing)

Told my very friendly convenience store owner I’m going up north to teach tomorrow. Him: I’m a teacher too! Me: Oh amazing, I’m teaching theatre! What do you teach? Him: Rockets. In Vietnam! Russian rockets. So long ago. Me: …well that’s different than theatre. Him: It is!

Today with the kids I got them to draw any monster they want and talk about it. My absolute favourite was from this shy little girl who drew “a puddle of blood but he used to have a mouth but he ate his brother and his parents and then he turned into blood. His name is Justin.”

Always a joy to work with @PopUpVR and the Girls Take Flight initiative with @the_oac at @BBishopAirport and also see a boat pretending to be a car or maybe a car pretending to be a boat, we’re not sure
