This past summer, I was lucky enough to see (and hold!) parts of Zuul’s skull in the collection of the @ROMtoronto. One of the most remarkable fossils I’ve ever seen!! Can’t wait to see Zuul in its new digs in the museum’s new dinosaur hall, opening today! #FossilFriday

Photographer Ralph Pace (USA) finds himself in the middle of a mass or ‘smack’ of Pacific sea nettles. Highly adaptable to warming seas, jellyfish are appearing in larger numbers. Some biologists argue that more frequent smacks are a sign of rising ocean temperatures.

While on holiday in southern France, the photographer had been watching flamingos in the Camargue. She was fascinated by their foraging behaviour as they moved gracefully through the shallow, saline wetlands, filter feeding for molluscs and crustaceans. https://t.co/EaZFpL5htg

Ladies, does your man hang out in the deep sea, have a cartilaginous skeleton, and teeth on his forehead? That's not your man, that is a chimera. 👻🦈 In honour of Halloween weekend @DrNathanLujan (Curator of Fishes) gave us a lesson on these creepy creatures.
