Looking forward to presenting in 2 weeks at the Spatial Biology Workshop! Can’t wait to share my work on mapping biodiversity patterns in California with the broader imaging community & see how lessons learned from macroecology can translate to the microscopic level + vice versa!.
The second annual Spatial Biology Workshop is just two weeks away! This free event will showcase the power of spatial techniques to answer biological questions. We'll be showcasing new methods for data generation and analysis, as well as the novel findings they enable (1/x)

Had an amazing time moderating our inspire session on open questions facing biodiversity monitoring at scale! The discussion was especially salient with great audience questions ranging from data sovereignty to open data sharing practices, to mitigating the loss of the long tail.
Planning your morning #ESA2023 routine? In 50 mins at 10:00 AM, Room 253, @leg2015 is organizing a not-to-miss inspire session “A roadmap towards comprehensive biodiversity monitoring at scale”. Also, come and hear her amazing work on plant mapping with deep learning!
