For the 75th anniversary of VJ Day Piper Robert Proctor from the City of Leeds Pipe Band and Piper Corporal Robert Cunningham, Royal Marines played Battle’s O’er from the summit of Scarfell Pike at 6am today. Robert Proctor told @nickahad about this moving experience.

We were looking forward to our first event of 2020 but it is a good call to cancel. Stay healthy #FlattenTheCurve.

We don't think of celebrating the accomplishments of our members on just one day a year but International Women's Day is a great way to showcase piping is not gender specific and we are proud of our diverse membership. We even have some English in the band too! #IWD2020

Our veterans are looking forward to parading for @LeedsAFD.
We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating Leeds Armed Forces Day 2020 on Saturday 4 July, with a FREE event on Briggate from 11am-4pm, with activities and entertainment for all ages. Join the Lord Mayor of Leeds and show your support for the Armed Forces community.

The Pipes and Drums of @GordonsSch and @4_scots_CO were fantastic in supporting our graduation. With almost no time to rehearse together their joint performance was flawless. Lovely to see Pte Derby XXXII of @MercianRegiment too - very steady on parade and a crowd pleaser!
