The column store (WARP) features automatic indexing with compressed bitmap indexes. This provides a very powerful "find the needle in the haystack" querying ability, including when there are ranges on multiple columns, or OR conditions.

Materialized views are amazing! They allow you to run queries instantly (or in seconds) that would take hours or even days. Run a slow query once, and it is never slow again. LeapDB has incrementally refreshable materialized views for #MySQL 8 and a column store too!
