Last week the new Speakeasy at Home service supported 78 people affected by #aphasia. Each had their own pattern of help using a range of approaches. What an amazing team of staff and volunteers. @Speakeasy_Bury @lc_allard @boothml1970 @GMStrokeODN

Our stroke units are getting busier but still low attendances with Transient Ishaemic Attack (TIA/mini stroke). Hospital is the best place if you have have symptoms of #stroke. Lucy reminds us of Face Arms Speech Time (act FAST). Pass it on! @GM_HSC

Please dial 999 if you or a loved one has #stroke symptoms. You may think you're safer at home but it's not worth the risk. The sooner specialist stroke services can treat you the better.
