In conclusion: we have an anti-car cycling campaigner, Michael van Erp, ‘Cycling Mikey’ from Zimbabwe, also from Holland, who wilfully breaks the law in the UK while reporting others for doing so. This is complicated, but I’m sure the Dutch would have called him a collaborator

The penalties Mikey faces for driving a motor vehicle without insurance: Band C fine is 150% of weekly income, but Mikey will get 1/3 off for pleading guilty (which evidently he is). And at least 6 points on his driving licence, though no evidence by his road use that he has one.

The big question is what his friends at the Metropolitan police are going to do about it? (They seem to email him whenever a case he has reported comes to court.) He is riding an illegal motor vehicle, presumably without insurance for which the penalties will be familiar to Mikey

Mikey has been riding around London on an illegal unrestricted e-bike. Here he has posted himself travelling on his e-bike, with assistance at 27.4km/h. That’s just over 17mph. Legal e-bikes in the UK are restricted to 15.5mph. See below.

However, it turns out Mikey thinks it is okay to break the law himself, while grassing up others. It turns out that all the time Mikey has been filming motorists infractions, it turns out he has been cycling illegally, on an illegal e-bike.

In fact Mikey is not pro-cycling so much as he is anti-car. We disagree with this approach to sharing the roads (unlike, incidentally, our impersonator, the so called Hounslow Cycling Campaign).

So, Michael Van Erp is from Zimbabwe, a country with a depressing history in our lifetimes. So we welcome him into our country and he thanks us by going round and filming people for minor motoring infringements, like passing too close to a cyclist - Mikey is a keen cyclist.

Mikey, in case you’re wondering if I’m talking s**t, here’s the relevant legislation. We’ve highlighted the bits you need to worry about.

Thankfully our Hounslow councillors @katherinedunne @shansview don’t use false data provided by TfL’s @willnorman in cabinet papers to justify LTNs bringing their council into disrepute (apart from cycle usage and accident data which I guess they don’t count). @PrivateEyeNews

I can’t stress this enough ….. The data being collected is all gamed……. I’ve proven this ….. they showed ZERO CARS ON MY ROAD for 32 minutes while road was full of cars ….. @JourneysPlaces lied to us stating there is a reduction….. they continue to harm our children while

Our impersonators at so called “Hounslow Cycling Campaign” and their so called “professor” Porky Pike have published more rubbish claims. Here’s why he’s an utter numpty and nothing this corrupt organisation says can be believed…

4. And this is despite the massive increase in electric vehicles, so the cycle lane has created the same pollution as before, but from well less than half the amount of cars.
