Let’s face it, we all want to get on the field on gameday! It is fun, and allows us to accelerate our growth. šŸŽÆ Expand your skillset when you are young so you can always find a role at the next level or on the new team. Whether that be varsity, club, college or even pro.

Being tied to one position at such a young age! šŸ”‘ Every week, we put players in uncomfortable positions and challenge their skill, athleticism and IQ. Think you are an attackman? Good let’s see you dodge above the goal. Just a middie? Up the hash shooting.

Let’s normalize letting players fail, and encourage that. Limit the pressure on them to feel the need to be perfect every rep. Give the space to fail, learn, and grow without them ever feeling like that it’s anything other then necessary

Just because form or fundamentals aren’t perfect, does not make a it a ā€œbad repā€. In fact, it’s the exact opposite at times when you are working through or ā€œfeelingā€ out new patterns and mechanics.

When I was younger, I thought that every rep had to be perfect, especially when I was in front of coaches who I thought I had to impress. The reality is failure is a KEY to growth. So why are the comments constantly negative about a players form or fundamentals?

As I have ramped up @Juke_Lab training in New Jersey and our social media, there have been a lot of negative comments around the ā€œfundamentalsā€ of the athletes we are working with. There is a big misconception amongst athletes and parents in regards to training: šŸ‘‡šŸ½

I wish I would have taken recovery more seriously in high school and college. Now if I don’t stretch, foam roll, and ice I want to die

REFUSING THE PICK from @HoyasMLacrosse Great way to use a R-L split to set up the up pick down the alley and take middle! As defenses play picks throughout the game, we must pickup on cues such as early head turns as they try to navigate and get through! #FirstClassLacrosse

Dodging looks way more fun in this era of lacrosse. Jealous of all the separation techniques the kids are learning now, even just from imitation
