So sad to see this legend leave the ABC, what a legacy @MelindaHayter, it won’t be that same without you … but stoked you’ll be staying in Wagga! A chance to hopefully arrange some more play dates AND more importantly kid free catch ups 🥳
After 16 years in the media, 13 at @abcnews, today I switched off the mic for the last time. I’ve covered horrors & triumphs & been proud to share the stories of regional NSW. I’ve joined the team @RegionalAus where I’ll continue to shine a light on issues affecting the regions.

I can't even: "I had a big contraction and my water broke and another straight away and Declan arrived very quickly. "I caught him and was massaging his chest and stimulating him, clearing his mouth and trying to get him breathing and crying.

Met some gorgeous kids from Western NSW at South Narabeen today - for some it was the first time at the ocean! Many were isolated during flooding at Brewarrina last year, which meant their trip here was delayed. They travelled 9+ hours to get here today!🌊#bushtobeach @abcnews

Big news out of #wagga tonight
RIP, Wagga Marketplace pedestrian tunnel. For years you gave adults a shortcut between Woolies and Big W. And generations of children the chance to shout into a literal echo chamber. A sad day for the Wagga community.

Like most kindergarten students, Paddy Wallace is learning to read. But he uses Braille and it has prompted his hometown to do the same.

I mean it didn’t start off well… but didn’t take long to get worse as the roof buckled and the chimney came crashing down

This is horrendous news, vale Sarah Tomlinson. I’ll always cherish your support from across the mighty Murray when I was Riverina chief of staff. RIP

ABC staff and audiences are grieving a natural and respected talent who spoke with a "beautiful husk" and trained more than 1,000 broadcasters after starting in radio at 14.
