We need more Victoria McClouds. If the public image of transsexuals was that of a High Court judges, lawyers, doctors, nurses, entrepreneurs, business managers, small business owners, tradespeople, soldiers, and the otherwise gainfully employed, we wouldn’t me in this mess that.

Good advice.
Regarding female socialization as a trans woman: While it is LIKELY that you will face some rejection/female exclusion/transmisogyny in trying to socialize with women, it's still a worthwhile pursuit. With effort and repetition, you'll find women who want you in the girl's club.

5/ kids who are socially transitioned are committing to a path. And it’s a path that may lead to that child having a dysphoria free adolescence and childhood, it imposes significant long term costs. If you’re going to be committing to that path, everyone better be damn sure it’s.

4/But path dependence (sticking with the path you’re on) is a well described phenomenon. People will stick on a suboptimal path if the energy required to get off that path is a barrier, even if a better path exists. It’s why people stay in ok jobs and ok marriages when there.

3/Kids who are socially transitioned appear to be more likely to go onto medical transitions as adolescents, though studies performed to date can not tell us whether this is due to so those kids being more intrinsically likely to be trans or whether the social transition is.

1/ . I know it’s not doctrinaire, but I have come to believe that facilitating a pre-pubescent gender transition is something that should only be performed under strict medical supervision.
I wish that I could extremely confidently say "no one is trying to trans kids because they like opposite-gendered stuff" but I don't actually think I can say that because idk wtf some of the queer theorists and dogma-pilled parents and doctors out there have been up to.

Male effeminacy and femininity are two different things that are easily confused. Neither ciis women or trans women generally present these behaviours in the wild.

While I’m no fan of transphobes, the pressure campaign that led to the cancellation of the Polaris prize will also make it harder to mount an effective defence of any trans woman authors whose work is being considered for any women’s book prize….

And here are a few things that they get wrong on this. 1) the chance that this cheerleader does drag is probably close to 100%. 2) if he does eventually transition, it won’t be because of homophobia. 3) most people who transition were non effeminate presenting prior to.
