We show that VPNs and Tor are very feasible on smartphones today. However, stronger designs with high-rate cover traffic not so much🫠. One practical key takeaway is that cryptography is cheap and the timing of radio transmissions matters. 🪴⚡️.

Found time to update the Argon2Kt password-hashing binding for Android to v1.1.0. Nothing big, just some overdue API spring cleaning: #mobilesecurity #android; The underlying Argon2 employs memory hard functions to make it more resistant to ASIC attacks.
