Check out our bioRxiv preprint summarizing our work on AR-V7 condensates, their role in activating a specific gene signature, and enhancing its expression in CRPC models. This work, led by post-doctoral trainee @ShabnamMassah, benefited greatly from co-authors and collaborators.

@CFCE_DanaFarber Our key takeaway: gene expression is influenced by the frequency of contacts between AR-bound enhancers and target promoters. In this “unbalanced multi-enhancer model,” enhancers vary in impact, with those in frequent contact having the strongest gene activation effect. (4/5)

@CFCE_DanaFarber Interestingly, we showed that AR binding doesn’t create new chromatin loops but instead strengthens contact within pre-existing loops. AR increases the frequency of interactions between specific CREs and target promoters, enhancing the potential for gene activation. (3/5)
