How To Treat Non-Traumatic Knee Pain 1. Assess range of motion limitations. It's more common for patients to complain of knee flexion tightness than extension. Tricky to figure out if it is chronic or not, but compare to other side. See if they feel a stretch (softer end feel)

Some people dislike those who question things because it exposes their comfort zones. But progress in healthcare needs curiosity, not compliance — asking hard questions is accountability, not aggression. Caring means questioning what works, not clinging to what feels comfortable.

“therapeutic exercise” in PT school emphasized “being creative.” IMO it’s for the PT, not the patient. I still advocate for effective over creative or entertaining. Strawpeople👇 -what if they like creative? -what is effective? -what if they don’t like traditional exercises?
