I am thankful for
@joerogan
. I don't agree with him on everything. I certainly don't agree with everything his guests have to say. But we absolutely should be providing an open forum to discuss dissenting views, even if controversial. Shutting them off is not science.
It's really sad how misinformed the justices of the highest court in the land are on this disease. It shouldn't matter, as it should be about the law, but since they're making it about the disease itself, it would help if they weren't citing utterly false statistics.
An NBA player literally gave a more precise, factual answer to what vaccines do and don't do than the CDC or anyone at the White House has given all year. No mixed messaging. Straight pros and cons of who and when a vaccine is strongly recommended.
Imagine if the
@CDCDirector
framed the conversation on vaccines this way.
Bizarro world where well spoken NBA players have more nuanced conversations on vaccine policy than govt. public health professionals.
Ohio State just did something that hasn't been done in 37 years (beat three straight top 10 opponents) and did so winning by a total of 53 points. They have more top 25 wins. They are the best team in CFB (the committee has said so). They're No. 1. Nothing against LSU.

@GovRonDeSantis
speaking in Palm Beach County this morning.
Florida provided a great real world observational study over the course of the school year last year with 40 districts with masks required policies and 27 without. The result was no statistical difference in school cases per enrolled students in person.
Follow the data
So wait… for two years people were labeled conspiracy theorists for pointing out deaths were being over counted at least somewhat and now the CDC is admitting that is indeed true?
It was
@GovRonDeSantis
who:
First recognized little outdoor spread (beaches)
First reopened businesses realizing lockdowns were ineffective and destructive
Sent kids back to school
Blocked government mask mandates
Unmasked kids
Banned vaxpasses
Florida followed data.
Did you know: Florida is under 1,000 statewide hospitalizations the past two days for the first time since they began being tracked at the beginning of April 2020?
Florida is still the lowest case rate in the country and the second lowest hospitalization rate.
Just had lunch. A teenager took my order. Only employee wearing a mask. As I try to do on occasion I offer the person the chance yo pull their mask down if they are comfortable. Literally said he’s too scared to do it. He’s 17 and triple vaccinated.
Child maskers did this to him
You might be a fascist if you:
- Don't want children sexualized
- Want parents to have a say in education
- Believe in election security
- Are against forced masking, vaccination, and indoctrination
- Want free speech
Let's roll the tape to see real fascism, shall we?

The Florida House has just passed the COVID-19 vaccine mandate bill. This will allow any one of five exemptions by any business in Florida wishing to require vaccines of employees. This will also put into law that no school districts may have required masking in schools.
No surprise: Florida hospitalizations took an absolute nosedive again today, a drop from 9,917 to 9,265 (6.7%). One of the biggest drops in FL in 2021.
And despite the masks-optional parents-choice policy, pediatric hospitalizations continue to fall, down 27% in 1 week.
It's my pleasure to announce publicly that this morning I officially accepted an offer to go work for Gov. Ron DeSantis in the Florida state capitol. I will be doing data analysis on several fronts for them including but not limited to Covid-19 research and other projects.
If you missed this juicy morsel yesterday from
@GovRonDeSantis
, according to a release of data from the National Travel and Tourism Office, 30.3% of all overseas visitors to the U.S. in 2020 went to Florida. It's the first time since 2001 FL has overtaken NY for No. 1.
Ohio State has done things that haven't been done in years in college football. They've been historically dominant. Pretty disrespectful if you ask me. They just beat three straight top 10 opponents. The committee caved to SEC bias.
Oh, and also today,
@GovRonDeSantis
said in passing there is no way in Florida we will support the Federal government participating in the
@WHO
global pandemic treaty.
History may well look upon this OSHA mandate as one of the most embarrassing attempts of Unconstitutional overreach ever attempted by a sitting President. The legal challenges will be enormous and swift, and from almost every single state by either a Government or private entity.
"Missing: 0.1 micron virus called Influenza, goes by the name flu; last seen in February in the northern hemisphere. If you have any insight into the whereabouts of this organism, please contact authorities."
Masks are not mandatory now in classrooms in: UK, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium (12 & under), Russia, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria (up to 5th grade), most of South America, etc. Masking children in the U.S. isn't science.
The great thing about the state of Florida is that we reject the false premise there is a "crisis." We have mitigated risk with advances in prevention and treatment.
Floridians will enjoy their liberties from the biomedical security state in 2022 and beyond.
Happy New Year!
Just remember, Florida, now Virginia, and places that are not masking children are following the science.
Schools that continue to put masks on children are not in the majority. Most countries in the world actually do NOT force masks on kids. Only lunatics here call it science.
Today
@GovRonDeSantis
announces Florida is rolling out distribution centers for the implementation of monoclonal antibody treatment for people infected with thr virus. Studies have repeatedly shown a 60-80 percent reduction in hospitalizations and deaths if caught early.
Just FYI,
@GovRonDeSantis
is not on vacation. Literally no one from our office has said that he is. Anyone pushing that could have easily seen the public schedule and seen that he's taking calls and meetings this past week. Not having public events does not = "vacation"
I'm writing a deeper dive but here is the shocking number that should be headline news: 97.9%
97.9% decrease of confirmed flu cases to WHO FluNet/GISRS from weeks 15 through 40 from 2019 to 2020.
Last year, 119,737 confirmed flu cases (9.32% positive)
This year, 2,457 (0.18%)
We live in a world where judges are holding people without bail for honking a horn or non-violent trespassing charges while rapists, child molesters and violent criminals are repeatedly returned to the streets with small or no bail and suspended sentences.
This came from a column on BBC, but the data is from the Imperial College in London (the institution that published the non-peer reviewed report that caused the mass panic).
Unless you're over 60, you have a better chance of dying from accidents/natural causes.
The dam is broke. A barrage of mandates are ending.
But it shows how this is all political as it's convenient how all these blue states decided to drop the mandates at the same time as if a memo went out from DNC headquarters.
The President is doubling down on wearing masks. "I think it's part of your patriotic duty (to wear them," he says.
So much for the off-ramp. They want to continue ineffective policies that haven't worked in 2 years and control people with symbols.
To all the parents in FL that fought so hard for the belief your child was better off in a learning environment without being forced to wear a mask: you won. Mandates are out. Opt-outs are...out. Personal choice is in.
Remember in 2022 those who pushed mandates. Vote accordingly
Dear 'fact-checkers' of the world: if you publish a fact check and it begins with "according to experts," then you have failed. A legit fact check should include falsifiable claims that you have countered with firm evidence to the contrary. 'Experts say' doesn't disprove.
BREAKING: A federal district court in Georgia has granted a nationwide injunction against the federal contractor mandate.
Currently, ALL THREE (3) Biden mandates are now enjoined.
"Don't tell me that is based on science. That is COVID theater,"
@GovRonDeSantis
says on masking up employees when no one else is wearing a mask in a business.
98%.
What if I told you that confirmed flu surveillance across the world has dropped year over year by 98% since April?
This is the deep dive story with data, graphs and charts showing how the world's most consistent nemesis has (almost) completely vanished.
-1-
One side wants to let criminals out of jail, put pornography in school libraries, take kids to drag shows, censor social media dissent, claim men can get pregnant, mutilate genitalia of minors, keep parents out of education & weaponize govt.
The other side is full of extremists.
That Governor Youngkin is now getting the
@GovRonDeSantis
treatment by Corporate Media and progressive activists proves he’s over the target and doing the job Virginians elected him to do.
Cases in Florida among ages 0-11 are down 91% since week ending Aug. 26 (1st or 2nd full week of school for most districts). For ages 12-19, they're down 93%.
This is despite 54 districts allowing mask opt-outs or having no mask policy whatsoever.
Source: FDOH Weekly SitRep
Big ruling in the 8th judicial circuit in Alachua County, the City of Gainesville is enjoined to not enforce the Vaccine mandate policy on city workers and shall not terminate or discipline any employee for failure to comply with the mandate.
There is not a single study in the entire world that has been produced during the pandemic, or especially before, that shows masks reduce infections by 80%.
This is the most comically bad misinformation I have ever seen. CDC has been reduced to outright lies.
Masks can help reduce your chance of
#COVID19
infection by more than 80%.
Masks also help protect from other illnesses like common cold and flu. Wearing a mask- along w/ getting vaccinated- are important steps to stay healthy.
#WeCanDoThis
@HHSgov
Last year: why is Florida opening schools, this will be a disaster. 40 districts have masks, 27 districts do not. No difference in case rates. Successful year.
This year: why is Florida allowing masks optional. Why is Florida barring healthy quarantine.
Same people, by the way.
Aaron is right. They are both vaccinated and one of them was vaxxed + boosted. So the mandate that is meant to stop spread isn't stopping spread. Irony, indeed.
In England, surveillance of Omicron found just 75 deaths among 212,019 confirmed cases. That's a 0.03% case fatality rate and that's deaths "with" positive test up to 28 days prior to death. Infection fatality rate of flu is ~0.1%.
UK has since stopped publishing surveillance.
History will neither forget nor kindly remember the people and politicians that advocated for lockdowns, forced masking, school closures, masking of kids, etc. As the world is now rushing to reopen and return to normal, there are still doubling down on these senseless policies.
If we knew back in March...
* Up to 80% population would have natural resistance to the virus
* We'd overcount deaths by up to 40-50%
* Kids <18 would have ~100 hospitalizations per 1 million (0.01%)
* <65 survival rate would be ~99.9%
...where would we be now? Not here.
The "paper of record"
@nytimes
just exaggerated, overstated and misrepresented child hospitalizations over the past year by 837,000 (1,329%). They said it was 900,000 when the real number was 63,000.
These same publications doing 'fact checks' need constant supervision.
Asked about the direction to schools this fall
@GovRonDeSantis
says, "our direction is simple: have a normal school year."
He adds "these kids do not need to be wearing these masks. I'm sorry, but they don't." Says that should be the case in the upcoming school year.
If for some odd reason you weren't convinced that you're being lied to, check this out. It's absolutely disturbing. Think this isn't going on in other places?
Reminder to Fauci: the courts enforce the law. CDC is a public health body that issues guidance, not make law or policy. The judicial branch is in place to keep unelected bureaucrats like yourself from exercising power you do not have. There is no public health branch.
Remember when Florida sued the CDC and won to get cruise ships going.
Then Florida banned vax passes for ships and the cruise lines sued and did it anyhow.
Then cruises starting getting outbreaks of cases on fully vaccinated ships.
Now CDC says vaccinated cruises aren’t safe.
For employers let's make it clear the vaccine "mandate" by the Federal government has not even been written. It hasn't been published in the Federal Register. Once it does, there must be a public comment period.
Even if you accept this as a lawful ETS, it's not in effect now.
Ohio State lost to No. 2, was No. 2.
Oregon lost to No. 3.
Ohio State beat Nos. 10 and 17.
Oregon beat No. 20.
Ohio State has a better strength of record.
Oregon is 5, Ohio State is 6
Make it make sense.
"Mass formation psychosis," an unfounded theory spreading online, suggests millions of people have been “hypnotized” into believing mainstream ideas to combat COVID-19. Psychology experts say the concept is not supported by evidence. Get the facts
@AP
.
@chenweihua
@POTUS
While we discuss exploitation, how many young Uyghur kids working at Nike factories in China have to work 20 hours to pay for your salary?
@SantaJOno
So stunning, so brave, that your university is overcoming the adversity of... you getting caught cheating.
Michigan is the victim of its own crimes, clearly.
"Agreed to pay."
The trial judge ordered them to pay it and the Ohio Supreme Court refused to hear their appeal lol
Legacy media framing strikes again.
This morning,
@GovRonDeSantis
says he supports the legislature in Florida in cementing a physician's right to use discretion in prescribing off label in consultation with their patients. He says they shouldn't lose their license for using FDA-approved medication off label.
DeWine says of masks on children this needs to be "new normal." Newsom says we can't go back to pre pandemic "way of life." The useful idiots scoffed saying it was only 15 days or short term inconvenience to wear a mask. Wake up America. This is being used as a power grab.
"We're going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated coworkers."
@POTUS
apparently doesn't believe in the protection he just claimed the vaccinations give people.
@kyletheboone
@USBWA
He didn't hurt his knee. He hurt his ankle...the one that you can see him sticking out in this video to trip the passing fan. This looks to be like another Caitlyn Clark situation.
Now:
@GovRonDeSantis
is signing the 'Emergency Orders' bill in St. Petersburg that would limit local orders to 7 days at a time, up to 42 days; would create checks and balances on emergency powers and would prohibit vaccine passports of customers, consumers and students in FL.
@jakeshieldsajj
This picture is supposed to depict “horror?” Literally these same soldiers were going door to door to execute civilians including women and children. Stop this ridiculous attempt at moral equivalency. It’s disgusting and offensive.
In response to the non-committal comments by Fauci and Biden on lockdowns,
@GovRonDeSantis
said today:
"In Florida, we will not let them lock you down. We will not let them take your job. We will not let them harm your businesses. We will not let them close your schools."
Justin Fields just went through a stretch of 3 games against top 10 defenses with 789 yds, 9 TDs, 0 INTs, 10.8 YPA and a 190 QB RTG. He did it in light rain & on a sprained MCL on the road and in a conference title game. Yet some still asking how he will handle a big stage. Huh.
In the past year, we have now seen government agencies change the displayed definitions of herd immunity, vaccination, and gain of function to make the science fit the politics. This is shameful.
So Rob Mullens just stated they decided Oklahoma, Georgia and Ohio State were similar and none were unequivocally better. So they went to the conference championship for Oklahoma but still kept Georgia over Ohio State, ignoring that same principle. Like I said, they're a joke.
"What (vaccines) can't do anymore is prevent transmission."
I can think of a certain Governor of a large state that has been saying this for a few months and has been criticized harshly by some media publications for saying so.
Did Anthony Fauci lie when he said more children have died from the virus than ever have died from the flu? Unless you think he's an incompetent boob that didn't learn a thing in 50 years in public health (hold the jokes please), then yes. And I will demonstrate that here.
Scott Gottlieb acknowledged just now on Fox News Primetime that the 6 feet distancing was just winging it and based on science that 'wasn't really established.' More or less credited Florida for doing 3 feet early on, rather than 6.
History scores another win in Florida's favor
At a press conference in Lakeland,
@GovRonDeSantis
pointing out Fauci said if >50% were vaccinated, you wouldn't see any surges, which isn't true. He points out vaccines are helping against severe illness but they aren't stopping transmission, which makes vax mandates pointless.
The White House fraudulently altered the official transcript today to repeat the lie that
@POTUS
said "let me repeat the line" as if he were saying it for clarity, rather than very clearly saying "repeat the line" which was an instruction included in the teleprompter.
CDC is resorting to outright cherrypicking. It's embarrassing. And some eat it up because they don't know how to interpret data if their life depended on it. The CDC says masks work, so ignore the ridiculous endpoints and small samples.
Hospitalizations are down ~400 in Florida again today. ICUs are falling big. And another huge drop in cases from last Thursday. The 7d case average is down under 14,300. It was ~21,700 just 2 weeks ago.
Remember in late July when the White House and media were calling out FL, TX, and some combination of either GA or MO at various times for making up a large share of cases?
Strange you don't hear them talking about how NY (7d ave 6,760) has more than FL+TX+GA combined (5,834).
In Tallahassee,
@GovRonDeSantis
is now speaking on the OSHA employer mandate for COVID-19 vaccinations saying Florida will be joining with Georgia, Alabama and private plaintiffs to file a lawsuit as soon as it's officially published.
Ohio State football and basketball is a combined 20-0 this year. They're 4-0 against AP top 20 teams, winning all four by double digits and a combined 90 points.
As a result of the
@US_FDA
's abrupt decision to remove the EUAs for two monoclonal antibodies, monoclonal antibody treatment sites will be closed until further notice. Full press release is below.
"The data do not support any clinical benefit for children in schools with mask mandates. The highest quality data find no evidence of benefit. We're going to stick with that because that's what the data show."
