Last week I spoke @ReactAlicante about genealogy + creative coding! Built a data → art pipeline using CLI, React, XState & P5.js that transforms family history (GEDCOM) into personalized art. Live demo'd importing my family tree and generating visual art. Video coming soon! 🎨

Congratulations and thank you @DavidKPiano! This way of thinking about software remains relevant but XState also provides clear implementation instructions for AI coding assistants when adding feature upon feature in a sane, predictable way. It’s quite powerful!
Hard to believe I started working on XState 10 years ago 🤯 Learning about state machines has completely changed the way I think about software - I hope it's done the same for you

This was an amazing live coding demo. Really clever use of CSS!
🤯 I LOVE talks that take crazy ideas and take them to their INSANE conclusions. @evyataral did just that at @ReactAlicante: implementing emoji search (filter) in pure CSS, including a match counter. No JS! Also, entirely live coded.
