Forty years ago, two people were killed in two separate pipe bomb explosions in Salt Lake City. The next day, Mark Hofmann was injured by a similar bomb inside his car. Police discovered the bombings were related to Hofmann and the most notorious forgery case in Utah’s history.

Early today a 29 year old man, driving west at high speed on 6400 S , missed a turn at 4800 W & smashed through Jersey barriers launching 150+ feet into a field. The car caught fire & the man had critical injuries. @Intermountain LifeFlight flew him to Utah Valley Hospital.
