Search and Rescue in Progress Currently, we have resources up at Silver Lake reservoir, in American Fork Canyon, searching for a missing adult male that was on a paddle board that went under the water and hasn't resurfaced. Please see:

***UPDATE***. At around 1AM on 06/23/2025, Rescuers were able to locate and recover the body of the missing 23 year old male from Utah Lake. This is a tragic and unfortunate ending to the course of events from yesterday. We would like to extend our condolences to the family.

Over the weekend in Eagle Mountain, UCSO Deputies took several reports of vehicle burglaries. UCSO Deputies investigated the incident and arrested one adult male and referred charges on 3 juveniles.

UCSO Deputies received information about a vehicle from an Amber alert on 03/24/25. Law Enforcement rushed to the area and subsequently arrested the suspect and safely recovered the children from the Alert.

The Utah County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of our own this week, Deputy Ryan Broadhead. Please keep the Broadhead family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult time.

Friday Utah County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Pioneer Landing area of Eagle Mountain for a 2 ½ month old infant that was not breathing. The mother of infant was booked into the Jail for Negligent Homicide. See the link for further details.

***Press Release***. This evening, 13 February 2025, Deputies in Vineyard City responded to a report of possible shots fired in the area of the Vine apartment. There were no reports of property damage nor injuries. One male is in custody.

Around 2PM, UCSO Deputies responded to a report of a pickup truck leaving the roadway and striking 2 homes. This occurred at Bald Eagle Way and Pony Express Blvd. First Responders tried to save the driver but unfortunately the Elderly Male was deceased.
