Today's background agent hypothesis:. Unit tests verify the agent's behavior. If the tests read well, you only need to skim the code. But prompting the agent to "write tests" isn't enough - you need to say the exact test cases you want. Wish me luck as I test this today.

if you can write solid test specs, you already have most of your prompts. Anyone in test automation / manual QA is used to describing feature behaviour in detail. (BDD).

After WSL came out a few years back I was so happy. Immediately wiped the dual boot setup with Ubuntu and figured Windows could finally handle everything: design work, terminal coding, gaming. How naive I was.
can someone describe to me the setup a power user would have on windows for their terminal?. i cannot get a setup im happy with.

One thing that's different about coding with AI and so much more motivating is that, when you're stuck on a problem, you just need some patience. A better model or tool upgrade comes out and solves it. It might take days or weeks but this has happened to me countless times in.

Claude Code Slash Commands upgrade is incoming. Hopefully, that will fix most of the issues I've been having with it lately.
