But we otherwise pine for those who use “American Christian culture” to get rich and famous among Christians, as long as they don’t betray us. How quickly do we rush from one famous so-called convert to the next, so desperate for a champion!. No wonder we are so led astray.
I think Jesus would have a lot to say about using “American Christian culture” to get rich and famous only to throw it under the bus when it stands in the way to more worldly acclaim.
