Therefore, as a motivation for the dedication and commitment. We crafted a unique token-based reward system where nurseries receive a token of Ksh 23 for every tree planted and cared for, for 3 months. Yesterday we rolled out a token disbursement in Tinderet, Emgwen & Nandi hills

The Kiptapkei people put in hard work to protect our environment and ecosystems. From potting of seedlings, taking care of them and transplanting them to designated riparian and wetlands. As an organisation, we're indebted to these efforts and cannot thank them enough.

Led by Mr. Kennedy Kirwa and Mwalimu Daniel Seurei, the group heard the story of the Kiptapkei people and wanted to be a part of it. Being owners of land that extends into a riparian area, they offered space to plant indigenous trees to protect their land and water.

Our CEO, Malakwen Mengich encouraged the students to plant an indigenous tree every term whether at home or at school which will push to increase our forest cover in the years to come; which will act as carbon sinks cleaning the air. #ClimateJusticeNow #kiptapkei
