Today I joined the Sengwer indiginous community on their tree planting day and we did 6,512 indigenous purely indigenous trees .This is what indigenous knowledge in conservation is all about .I had mad fun and Embobut is beautiful very beautiful!

Over 130 farmers expressed interest in either establishing native tree nurseries or offering land, particularly around water bodies or degraded forest areas for restoration. This is proof that farmers are ready to be active champions of protecting mother nature.

I was honoured to attend the Farmers' Field Day organized by Eastern Produce Kenya at Sitoi Estate; a gathering that brought together tea farmers under various producer organizations, along with exhibitors from tea factories, agri-tech companies, banks, and community groups.

We at @kiptapkei celebrated World Earth Day by joining the community in Kipsigak, Nandi County to plant 2700 indigenous trees on a parcel of land with springs owned by Mr. Kemboi. Bringing together children,youth, men and women, it was a moment to give back love to the planet.
