If you moved to Charlotte between 2010 and 2017 your perception of homicides is going to be that they are out of control. Y'll Weekly doesn't really care that as of the end of October the total homicides are higher than the full year totals from 2005-2017. It's not propaganda.
There is a lot of propaganda slop targeting Charlotte aimed at making folks think Charlotte and North Carolina are much less safe than they actually are. It feels like a coordinated campaign from bad actors who have all been exploiting a recent tragedy for political purposes.
