One thing I’m thankful for — by engaging in Ohio politics this year, I have found the @rooster_ohio, who is a great source for news in America’s 7th most populous state.

This guy concedes that the prohibition of cannabis does in fact trample on the Constitution — but only because of guns
@jimhigdon @BuenoForMiami @JesseHughesNC Right so if the law against weed is on the books and the officer smells weed coming from a car, for example, that is not an unreasonable search. As for the point about the fifth amendment, I'll cede that point.

“I self educated actually” pretty much clenches this.
@jimhigdon @BuenoForMiami @JesseHughesNC As for the 9th and 10th, you really don't have a point with either one unless with the 10th you want to argue that the decision should be left to the individual states. With the 14th amendment, it's a stretch. The text of that amendment just garuntees equal protection under the

@isaiahplafone @BuenoForMiami @JesseHughesNC 9th Amendment— unenumerated rights are retained by the people: this should be self-evident to everyone but you, apparently 10th Amendment— regulating intrastate commerce is not the role of the federal government 14th Amendment— equal protection clause. Among the @HempRoundtable regulatory priorities: -raise federal floor to 5 mg THC -ban synthetic cannabinoids -extend the moratorium from 1 to 2 years -avoid carving out any one particular form factor https://t.co/wb6c75s5xL

Politics is the art of what's possible
@lukasgilkey @MikeGThompson @cantripguy No. It’s because we are talking with key members of the House and Senate and understand what’s possible in a Republican-controlled Congress. Y’all, on the other hand, are not doing your homework.

@HometownHeroATX Best way to lose a political fight: infighting instead of taking a consensus deal to the Lege. 2d best way: dishonesty.

Rand - who might be the least “nasty” person in DC, was elected 6 years before POTUS was, and won re-election by 25 points. He votes 90 percent with his party and the other ten percent it’s because they’re spending to much or taking your freedom. Literally nothing in that
