Did you know? Alan Turing was an English mathematician who is famous for his work cracking the Enigma Code during the Second World War.

Alan went to boarding school when he was very young. He was shy and spent much of his time alone. He taught himself to read and could solve mathematical problems in his head before his teachers taught him how.

@PieCorbett I very much enjoyed the online poetry training last Tuesday. The children at @kgpsNN2 completed a poetry unit in January, the units were based on guidance and ideas from your article Poetry - Creating with constraints. Here are some examples of year 1 alliteration,

Many of the children have made a poster of how the brain works to help Miss Conception understand that the brain can grow. Even if you find something hard, you can train your brain to improve. Here are some year 6 posters.

A lot of our children have turned into detectives and have been searching for clues on the playground! Year 2 informed Miss Light that they had found a footprint and a message reading ‘Bye’ which they think is Miss Conception!
