Very few Christians in Darfur although sadly the only Catholic priest in El Fasher, Father Luka Jomo, was killed in a RSF attack on the town last June. The Sudanese Civil War is almost in its entirety being fought between Muslims. Almost all the victims are Muslims.

I think it's fair to say AEI's welfare reform bona fides are as strong as anyone's in the game. So when @kevincorinth writes "Ending the federal shutdown and maintaining SNAP benefits would prevent substantial harm to tens of millions of low-income Americans," you should listen.
I think the COVID-era ACA subsidies should expire (in no small measure because we can’t afford giving them to families who aren’t low income). But federal policymakers on both sides should try and prevent this outcome:
