Didn’t set out to make your favorite Carolina football shirt ever, but fear that’s exactly what I may have done. Bluff Road Football Club tees, the good tri-blend fabric only. Check the site, collect all 3. https://t.co/TPj7vvrSHP

When McDonough’s voice cracks you know you’re witnessing a historical moment, top shelf announcery
@kevROSHAY “LINE DRIVE AND A BASEHIT” still hits like 33 years ago. The voice crack on “safe” still gets me, too. I’m sure he’s had more epic calls but that one is top in my book forever.

The Darnell Double Dose™️ play I was referencing. It’s like if Samson was trying to knock the pillars down while also running full speed between them instead of simply holding them up, look how beautiful
Darnell Wright with a game clinching 2 for 1 on this toss. sometimes you just gotta be a football player. if he had *just* noticed the end working around the down block and sealed that, it would have been a really heads up play. this is excellent.

Pops woke me up early, had the vhs cued so I could watch the 9th before school. Cereal on a tray table in the living room watching Siddarius Bream round 3rd w the speed of an electric football set, we were living like kings Also: Sean McDonough has been great my whole life

Roughly a minute in I figured I had a good idea the levels this postgame clip would hit. Incorrect. My coach went Biggums Mode and my adrenaline levels have yet to recover.

a thing that helps me sleep at night is I know Ben won’t rest / be happy until this offense gets to the point where Luther Burden The Third is catching 6 balls a game

Only thing I didn’t really agree with was Monangai in on that drive starting at 6 min left or whenever. Thought 4 had earned those snaps from his work up to that point. Got his chance on that last drive though and worked out. We lose games like this in the past. 3-2, onward.

Knew I would be but remain incredibly impressed with Ben Johnson. So many good & clever calls, attn to detail to get dudes open. They don’t always work bc that crispness takes time, but you see the vision. I am unused to this phenomenon by the team with GSH on the sleeve.

A plethora of mistakes (snaps, key drop, low kick but 16 cool w me) and extremely painfully timed whistles from the refs (pretty sweet td taken off the board for at best borderline ticky tack behavior, every 3rd down stop) but the boys stayed in the fight & God bless the DC rain.

Darnell Wright massive game. Heismaning a man in his sternum to clear the left side then blocking another on the right opening a lane by himself. 2 blocking on the edge all night. Actual holes / human movement in the running game allowing Swift to work, I nearly shed tears.

All Rico needed was an opportunity and his number 5 back and we get historical stats like this. Googled most popular tv shows in 1970: we’re talking gunsmoke and bonanza, that’s how long ago. Rico Dowdle: doing things not seen since the ponderosa

If you ever want to know how to torture and slowly debilitate me just make me watch this game again, I can feel myself losing my mind in real time.
