Some nice news! Our paper on 'predicting outdoor performance & degradation of organic photovoltaics using machine learning' is published in Progress in Photovoltaics. It's transferrable to other technologies, e.g. also for sensors/batteries #solar # OPV

#solarenergy #PVs #energytwitter #SolarEclipse #CarbonNegative .If you do one thing over lunch, I thoroughly recommend reading this article which discusses how solar energy could reduce carbon emissions from IT infrastructure.
Around 4.6 billion people use the internet every day. In fact, 350,000 tweets have been sent in the past minute. The servers that host all that data produce huge amounts of emissions, leaving giant carbon footprints behind.

Yesterday was my first visit to campus since starting at #UofGlasgow! Celebrated with a ride in the evening taking in the three lochs route. Fantastic views (campus and surroundings). But, definitely need to dig out the winter clothing for evening rides in Scotland!
