Previously, we developed chemistry largely using a one-electron oxidant K2S2O8. We now use a one-electron reductant for the chemistry that presented challenges earlier. Thanks to @serbonline for funding generously.
Sulfoxylate anion radical, a one-electron reductant easily generated from an industrial reagent, rongalite, offers expedient access to biarylsultams. Learn more in #JOC from @LahaJoydev @NIPER_SAS_NAGAR @serbonline
