The pours may be petite but our tap list is anything but.

Happy opening day! We don’t have TVs and sport at the tasting room but we do serve our beer from the space that used to be the dairy farm’s bull-pen.

A distributor once told me, “you’ve cornered the market on Brett IPAs.” Naturally, the question is if you corner a market in three woods… Waymaker Brett IPA is back in bottles at the farm!

Ryeland is back for the holiday season. Our German Altbier style brown ale is made with @Valley_Malt Danko Rye and lagered for close to two months.

We need to make a fresh-dried hop version of this beer and refer to it as “straight from the dryer”.

We have some “wild” hops growing on some old hop posts removed a few years back. These will be the hardest (and most fun) to harvest since the bines aren’t easily accessible.

We’re happy to see our .25 acre yard hit top wire again after a tough 2022 growing season. Thinner than years past but on the right track.

This year’s hops are growing differently across the farm. The bines in front of the brewery are looking happy.

One week from today! You’re invited to be a part of a new beer we’re making with freshly picked hop cones from our farm. We’ll be offering shorties of the first keg of 2021s Coolship Campland barrel made with @BrewingWeight.

Thank you @UPROXX and @exhibitAbrewing for including our Pilsner, The Hollow in list. Great company to be a part of!

We asked craft beer experts to tell us the one pilsner they’d drink for the rest of their lives if they could only pick one.

Thrall’s farm is a historic tobacco producer, pioneering shade tobacco in the early 1900s. In 2017 they opened CT’s first craft malt house. The vineyard in the front is an experimental plot we are fortunate to have shared with us.
