A favourite memory was when in the Radio 1 offices, Annie would come over and we’d start talking about new genres of bass music… not on the radio, just chatting about our new favourite acts. She was everything you’ll read and hear in the coming days. RIP to a true trailblazer 🤍
BBC Radio 1 is extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Radio 1 DJ, Annie Nightingale CBE. Our deepest condolences are with Annie’s friends and family at this incredibly difficult time. Rest in peace, Annie 🤍
