Qw conflates moat with value capture. Internet has an insanely strong moat, yet its fees are $0. Same with Linux in servers and supercomputers. Funnily, low fees can be your moat, too. And that's because new entrants need to reach economies of scale to make their business work

okay i can't stand farcaster takes by people who barely used the app and now say 'oh it's all about XYZ' i've been on FC since 2022, and spent a few years exploring social apps (even co-founded one) and it's way more complex. so yes, social graph matters. both people you meet
