Over 400 campsites at one of Pennsylvania's most popular destinations are closed due to staffing shortages from the DOGE cuts. Suspect more of this will happen across the country. Just really, really stupid and unfortunate in an era where too many ppl sit inside all day already.

Hey! @elonmusk your doge minions just fired me and my colleagues at CMMI. We were working on improving maternal health outcomes AT LOWER COSTS so that less pregnant women would die in this county. I thought that would fit nicely into your agenda?

Reports say LA Times is losing $40 million a year. Its owner, Patrick Soon-Shiong, has an estimated net worth of about $5 billion. Even if he never makes another penny he could cover those losses every year for a century and still have more than $1 billion left over in the bank.

Instagram ushered in the age of self-commodification online, but TikTok and Twitch have turbocharged it, @chaykak writes. The barrier to entry is higher and the pressure to conform stronger. https://t.co/C2KtBRJ1Fw

Thirty years later and this remarkable moment has lost none of its power. Sinéad was protesting the covering up of sex crimes by the Catholic Church. Imagine the courage it took to do this live on US television. And she was right. All along, she was right.
