Reading also involves other mental skills that listening/ watching but far too many want to equate two different skillsets & corresponding mental activities as the same. There's been studies on this kind of thing with brain scans

To anyone pleased about this: note developmental disability means "impairment in mental, learning, language, or behavior areas diagnosed before adulthood". Means no physical disabilities like epilepsy or anything diagnosed after age 18. So many people are going to be left out
NEW: Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort will soon make changes to their Disability Access Service (DAS) program, including a change to how guests will be accommodated if they need help accessing attractions. Effective May 20 at WDW and June 18 at DLR. 🧵

how to explain to boomers and gen xers that non-urgent voice calls are rude because they force the other person to stop everything they're doing to pay attention to you immediately, whereas a textual message allows the person to respond when they have a moment
