I'm extremely happy to announce the beginning of a new era in state management! The new Reatom has way more than we're used to: - The simplest "signal"-like API - The most advanced concurrent effect management - The most extensible plugin system (after jQuery, lol) 👇

The percentage of child dead in the Ukrainian conflict is 0.3%. Zero point three per cent. The percentage of child dead in the Gaza conflict is 37.7%. Thirty seven point seven per cent. In a single statistic, there you have the difference between a war and a genocide.

the browser doesn't freeze and you can play with this test. Which can't be said about other solutions. I can recommend @ReatomJS , it's really good, you can use it with React, you can without. A lot of additional functionality (hello @tan_stack )

Then I decided to simplify it and made one atom (think of it as useState) with the entire list of 10,000 elements. And after each operation I updated the entire list at once. It works just as slowly. But...

With @ReatomJS (more precisely, reatom-jsx) it turned out more interesting: first I tried to "atomize" the states inside each element as in the recipes in the documentation, but it worked just as slowly. Perhaps I did something wrong.

What can I say... On my laptop, there was no difference between https://t.co/CVcWowJpDP, pure JS or React for me as a user. Equally slow for 10,000 lines and browser freezes after a couple of select/delete/update operations...

Have a look at the tests https://t.co/qEQ3YbZ1Qn on your laptop. Tested solutions on https://t.co/CVcWowIROh and on pure JS (as one of the fastest) plus "slow" React. Also tested @ReatomJS for comparison. Didn't measure anything, just my user experience...

@biomejs plugins are still in beta, used @GritQL. I wrote myself a few rules to check the naming of atoms and actions, that's all I had the intelligence for

Uncomfortable truth: Assad was better for Syria. Gaddafi was better for Libya. Saddam was better for Iraq. But the purpose of American foreign policy has never been to bring stability to these places.
