It’s a good thing, as Charles Cooke wrote, that Musk’s conspiracy theories regarding January 6th, embrace of white nationalism, and bankrolling the Trump campaign is just some harmless eccentricities of an inventor. If it had real world impact, that would be concerning.

I remain unconvinced cheating happened. But I'm begging partisans to understand that the appearance of it is just as bad, it undermines faith in the entire system. You cannot shame people into having faith again, you must build processes that are credible *and look credible*.
