It's not either or. This BW is only deemed ugly cuz of isms, not some innate universal truth that exists outside of that. Beauty hierarchy shouldn't determine quality of life AND we need to push back on accepting people as ugly cuz the hierarchy said so.
I think her point is flying over a lot of people’s heads as far as how we treat ppl who we deem “not beautiful” or not conventionally attractive. You don’t have to be beautiful to be deserving of basic human decency and respect
