in fairness i think it IS close to breaking top 100 which would give us two black characters on the list… anyways i think its always a good time to talk about race and diversity in fandom but especially in the big year 2025. imma need 4000 more sambucky fics on my desk.

for anyone wondering, sambucky does not crack the top 100 ao3 ships of all time . in fact, not a single black or brown character makes the top 100 except for that one OFMD ship, a genshin ship, and luz/amity. lord.
