The hammock sat rolled up for years until we bought a house that randomly had a hammock stand built in the back yard with no hammock. We finally put it up and I laid on it for the first time and had the most peaceful nap of my life on Trevor’s hammock.

I was in shock and all I could think was “this idiot bought us a hammock” rolled up in an 8 foot long tube that I had to jam in my Prius for the 16 hour drive home, but he was so excited about it I had to go “Wow, buddy thanks. I’ll use it all the time.”

Trevor bought us a hammock for our wedding present. He was so excited about it that he had to come over and go “Dude I thought about it really hard and I got you the best thing someone from Florida could have.” and he made us open his present at the wedding reception.

Ever since becoming a dad random shit makes me emotional. I just saw the Orion Pictures intro on a movie and got started to get choked up.
