Thanks to everyone who participated in this legislative trivia session! Did you know almost all state legislatures have two chambers? There's just one legislature with one chamber. Can you guess which one? #NCSLsummit

Hey @mikiebarb - was listening to the 3.12 episode of @nytimes "The Daily" and noticed your use of the word addict - @APStylebook has encouraged journalists to use person centered language since 2017. Please update your language choices; you have an important platform.

I'm not a young guy. That's no secret. But, here's the deal: I understand how to get things done for the American people. Here’s the first ad of our spring media campaign.

I have a disability and I don't get paid any less than my Senate colleagues. Yet, working people with disabilities are LEGALLY allowed to be paid less than the federal minimum wage. They should be compensated with a dignified and livable wage, just as any other worker.

I strongly oppose the FY24 DC appropriations bill on the House floor right now. The bill blocks, repeals or amends 10 laws or policies adopted by DC's own locally-elected officials. Members of Congress who do not represent DC should keep their #HandsOffDC.

DC residents are denied full political representation in our legislative branch of government. It's time to end this second-class citizenship, advance racial justice, and finally make DC the 51st state. We need #DCStatehood.

Gotta call BULLSH*T on Tim Scott again -- he's talking about how he'd help child care, when he and ALL Republicans let the child tax credit DIE. President Biden's Child Tax Credit pulled half of kids out of poverty. Republicans don't give a sh*t about kids. And the ONLY tax

Every map of DC is the same - whether you’re talking about income inequality, food access, transportation access, traffic safety infrastructure, maternal mortality, heat islands, pollution and air quality, etc. This is the result of intentional policy choices and disinvestment.
