It's been two months since Senate passage of Senator Collins' bill to correct the DC budget issue caused by the CR, 47 days since President Trump called for a House vote, and 249 years of being denied #DCStatehood + control of our own affairs. The House must act.

Today is the two-month anniversary of the DC Local Funds Act’s passage in the Senate, which would correct an issue caused by the CR that left DC unable to spend its own local funds at locally enacted levels. The bill continues to sit in the House as major service cuts to DC.
DC is funded by local taxes, just like every other state. When Republicans slashed DC's budget by $1 billion, they didn't save Americans a single cent in federal taxes. Even Trump wants to fix this. House GOP must pass the bipartisan Senate bill & solve the problem they created.
